Full glass of crushed or cubed ice

4 oz Dry Rosé of Zinfandel

1 oz Gin

1 oz Campari

splash of tonic

Orange twist


Pack the glass with ice. Add rosé, gin and Campari. Top with Tonic and add a twist.

I've learned to adjust the gin and Campari a bit depending on the crowd--less of each and more tonic. If serving for a dinner party, I mix the still ingredients in a decanter by portion, chill and pour over the ice when guests arrive. Top up with the tonic, add a twist and the dinner party begins!
