Old vines on new roots. "Mother Clone" refers to the original Zinfandel vines planted on the property when John Pedroncelli, Sr., purchased the ranch and winery in 1927. Those vines were planted some time around the turn of the twentieth century. We have since propogated our Zinfandel with cuttings from those vines. Our Zinfandel vineyards, like the family operating the winery, are now in their third generation.

Deep purple-garnet in color. Spice and black cherry aromas leap into the nose! Wonderfully aromatic yet subtle toasty oak complements the fruitiness in the mouth. Incredibly soft and smooth.
Cabernet Sauvignon Dry Creek Valley Three Vineyards 2006
Rich aromas of ripe raspberry and cherry highlight this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is highlighted by bright acidity, in just the right amount to showcase the fruit. Plum, toasted oak notes and warm clove spice combine to round out the flavors. Framed by firm tannins and a lasting finish, our Three Vineyards Cabernet is ready to enjoy upon release or cellar up to five more years.
