Mother Clone Zinfandel
A second generation vineyard with some of the vines contributing to this wine planted just after the turn of the 20th century on the Pedroncelli Home Ranch. The newer plantings were propagated (cloned) from those venerable survivors--head pruned, hillside, hand picked vineyards. This unusually concentrated Zinfandel highlights ripe blackberry and spice notes.

Three Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
As the name indicates, three vineyards provided fruit for this blend: all estate grapes from our Dry Creek Valley bench vineyard located a mile west of the winery and each vintage includes a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Typical characteristics feature red currant, ripe berry and a slightly spicy touch in the aroma and flavors.
Block 007 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
We first planted Cabernet Sauvignon in the early 1960s and now have 18 acres on our estate. Block 007 was replanted in 1992—on the Scott Henry trellis system which splits the cordon arms into a double tier with the upper arm usually bearing about 3 tons of grapes per acres while the lower arm bears about 2 tons per acre. This achieves optimum ripeness and the vineyard is well drained, right next to Canyon Creek where it is gravelly with the ideal growing conditions for this full bodied wine.
Bench Vineyards Merlot
The name of these vineyards describes the natural terraces flanking the Dry Creek Valley floor and rising gradually (2-9%) into the hills. The two blocks used for this Merlot are from adjacent vineyards - Pedroncelli and Long - and produce a lush and smooth wine with black cherry, berry and spicy pepper aromas and flavors.
East Side Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is considered one of Dry Creek Valley's hallmark varietals. East Side refers to vineyards planted along Dry Creek where the vines on this side of the valley receive the full influence of sun with a balance of cool nights to maintain balance in the wine. Grapefruit, melon, and a hint of grassiness outline the aromas and it is crisp and full flavored on the finish.
Alto Vineyard Sangiovese
This Italian varietal grows on terraced estate hillsides just west of the winery. With the well-drained soils of these hills and the unique micro-climate, the location suits Sangiovese well. The wine is redolent of cranberry, leather and spice aromas, all blending nicely on the palate.
Family Vineyards Petite Sirah
This richly flavored grape has been grown in the area for over 100 years. Pedroncelli's estate vineyard was planted in 1990 and thrives on a hillside west of the winery. The "Family" connection is the Bushnell vineyard, a source of Znfandel as well asPetite Sirah and grown by niece Carol Bushnell and her husband Jim. Full flavors of black cherry, ripe blackberry and black pepper are at the heart of this full-bodied red wine.
Four Grapes Vintage Port
The grapes for this dessert wine came from Pedroncelli’s estate vineyard in Dry Creek Valley. The four acre vineyard was planted in 1995 with these traditional Port varietals: Tinta Madeira, Tinta Cao, Touriga Nacional, and Souzao. They are harvested as a field blend and each of the varieties contribute acid, color and flavor components.
F. Johnson Vineyard Chardonnay & Vintage Selection Chardonnay
Situated along the southern boundary of Dry Creek Valley, near the confluence of Dry Creek and the Russian River, this family-owned vineyard has provided Chardonnay grapes to Pedroncelli for over 20 years. The location's cool microclimate and well-drained soils consistently produce Chardonnays of uncommon finesse, depth and complexity.
Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Our Pinot Noir comes from vineyard sources located just about 12 miles south of the winery in the cool Russian River Valley where climate, soil, the right amount of fog and sun work together to create an excellent wine that is elegant and smooth. Red cherry and warm clove spice frame the wine and leads to delicate cherry-berry flavors and a bit of toasted oak for a well rounded finish.
Morris Fay Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Located east of the winery in northern Alexander Valley, the Fay family has maintained vineyard there for over 50 years. This appellation has been recognized as one of California’s finest sites for Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Morris Fay began selling fruit to the Pedroncellis in the 1970s and the vineyard is a prime source of Cabernet Sauvignon today. The wines made from this vineyard have consistently revealed distinct spice and singular fruit qualities.
Pedroni-Bushnell Vineyard Zinfandel
Located on the eastern bench of Dry Creek Valley, the 20-acre Pedroni-Bushnell Vineyard has been closely associated with the Pedroncellis for over 50 years. Winery founder John Sr. purchased the property (planted to Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Carignane ) in the early 1940s. The vineyard was passed along to son-in-law Al Pedroni in the 1950's. Al's daughter Carol Bushnell inherited the vineyard in 1990 and she and her husband Jim tend the vineyard.
