Grilled Porterhouse Steak with Garlic-Herb Butter

  • 2 Porterhouse steaks (1 1/2 inches thick)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, and parsley), chopped

Side Dish:

  • Grilled vegetable medley (such as bell peppers, eggplant, and red onions)
  • Parmesan truffle fries

Preparation

  • Season the Porterhouse steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped fresh herbs to make the garlic-herb butter. Set aside.
  • Grill the Porterhouse steaks for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired doneness.
  • Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the steaks across the bone and serve with a dollop of garlic-herb butter on top.
  • Serve with a grilled vegetable medley and Parmesan truffle fries on the side.
